Two channel Vertical Blanking Interval (VBI) input card. Fitted into a P4000 unit the VBI cards provides two independently switchable analogue/digital 525/625 line inputs
When used in conjunction with Polistream software modules each input can be used to receive VBI based data including Teletext subtitles, packet 31 data and VITC time code.
VANC-1 - VANC Data Input Card
Single channel HD-SDI Vertical Ancillary Data Space (VANC) input card. Fitted into a P4000 unit the VANC-1 card provides SD and HD digital VANC data reception as part of a Polistream system Digital loop output provided.
When used in conjunction with Polistream software modules each card can be used to receive VANC based data including Teletext subtitles in OP47 format and other private data formats.
Timecode Cards
In addition to the dual input VBI card used for analogue and digital timecode input there are two single channel Polistream Timecode Cards available.
LTC Timecode Card - for use where only Linear Timecode is available
HD Timecode Card - for use when only an HD Timecode source is available.
Single channel SD insertion card. Used for the insertion of EIA-608 Closed Captions into an SDI video signal. Fitted into a P4000 unit the Caption-in card provides insertion of single or dual language closed captions as part of a Polistream system
GPIO Card
The Polistream GPIO card provides 8 isolated digital inputs and 8 relay outputs for a wide range of applications.
Alarm outputs to external monitoring systems
External switching of routers and changeover's in the event of equipment failure
Configuration inputs to automatically change Polistream configurations. E.G. font, aspect ratio on screen positioning
GPIO cards are an optional extra in P5000 units.
Serial Card
The Polistream Serial card provides 2 additional RS232 serial ports for use in P4000 units. Additional Serial ports are required for:
Extra and backup serial automation inputs
Serial delivery of Live Subtitling data.
Serial output of Imitext data to PowerView Encoders
Serial control or monitoring of routers for redundancy switching
