IPTV and Internet TV

With the growing demand for IP delivered services Screen have now added direct IP interfacing to the Polistream transmission system. Whether you are delivering IP based video services directly over the internet (Internet TV), over a dedicated network link (IPTV), or just using IP routing within a head-end Screen have a solution.

The new UDP RX and UDP TX Polistream modules provide direct interfaces between the proven Polistream architecture and IP based infrastructure for the reception and transmission of transport streams. These modules implement both Unicast and Multicast modes and support all the functionality previously provided via the Polistream A-Series ASI interface units.

A mix of both ASI and IP based connectivity can be supported within a single Polistream system.
